1961 VW Volkswagen vintage Double Cab DC pickup truck.

Body was professionally done down to bare metal and quality detail restoration few years ago. Tailgates and body gaps are excellent. There are few small areas of small touch up blemishes from on going usage that can be spot section painted by professionals just few hundreds if desired. Still in very nice presentable condition.

Keeping the stock look and reduction boxes by slightly lowered to reduce wheel gaps for cleaner look without sacrificing suspension comfort. Handles amazingly well on twisty turns for a old truck suspension .

It has a nice turn key reliable 1918 performance engine with dual Solex carbs and transmission with tugged under exhaust system. Sounds great without being loud. Performance clutch and light weight fly wheel . 12 Volt converted. does well on highways.

1960 Volkswagen T1 Single Cab

By owner, My buddy and I bought this VW single cab with the intention of restoring it. We were well on our way when circumstances changed and we're now forced to sell her.

-Very straight body with minimal rust repair necessary.
-Transmission shifts smoothly and doesn't pop out of gear.
-New bed replacement panels (4) from Wolfsburg West included.
-New gas tank (Wolfsburg West) installed and fuel valve rebuilt.
-New tires.
-Underside has sprayed undercoating.
-I do have the fuel door. I was doing some body work on it at the time pictures were taken.

-Needs electrical redone.
-Motor is a dual port 1600cc that is nicely detailed but is leaking oil and smokes.
-Has a crack/split on the roof. It's an easy welding fix as it's a clean cut. It happened when the previous owner drove under a low pipe.

A VW like this is very rare and they're getting harder and harder to come by. This one is nicely set up to finish the restoration and with a $5K-$7k investment would easily be worth well over $30K.
