1940 Ford F-8 Canadian Military Pattern

During the mid-1930's and following Hitler's rise to power in Germany, the British Government began exploring Canada's potential as a manufacturing base for war-related goods. Given the British Army's dire need of transport of all kinds, both Ford of Canada and R.S. McLaughlin of General Motors of Canada Ltd. were invited by the Canadian Department of National Defense to produce a Canadian prototype of an "8 cwt" light infantry truck that would be compatible with British specifications and based on the pattern of the British 8 cwt truck.

As part of the range of "Canadian Military Pattern" or CMP vehicles, these trucks were designated as the Chevrolet C-8 and Ford F-8. While Chevrolet's C-8 bodies were made by W.D. Beath, a Toronto company, Ford of Canada made their own. Both Chevrolet's C-8 and Ford's F-8 utilized many standard civilian-vehicle parts, making it relatively easy to locate replacement parts. Production began around May 1940 and ended near the close of 1941 with a total of 9,837 units built. Today, it is very rare to find a surviving 8 cwt truck, let alone a restored example of these important Allied army transport vehicles.

This F-8 was purchased in Canada in 2008 and shipped to Arizona where a complete frame-up restoration was begun. The restoration was completed in 2009 and the truck has since been maintained in a garage. A fan shroud was installed to aid in cooling the engine. The electrical system was converted to 12 volts and an alternator installed in place of the original generator. Turn signals were added to make the truck "street legal." This is currently the only Ford F-8 truck in the United States.

1964 Unimog 4x4 Military Truck for sale

The owner was bought a Rubicon so this must out, as you've seen here is the Unimog, 4x4 truck that was made by Mercedes-Benz. Ex German troop carrier. Runs, drives, stops, Needs some loving, working the bugs out, got the headlights working but one needs a ground, front axle seals are leaking. Tires got weather checks. Needs new wood in the bed. The carb was professionally rebuilt, new electric fuel pump, the seats just got getting recovered. Fold down bed sides. Installed a new between the tanks fuel filler hose. Have the cargo bows and canvas, have the cab bows but the canvas is in bad shape. This truck is unmolested, just needs some loving, 8000 on the speedo but the AZ title says not actual mileage. This is a 50 MPH(tops) down the road but can go anywhere off road truck. Has manual lockers both front and rear with the portal axles.

6x6 Military Dump Truck, American General M929

1986 American General M929 Dump Truck with 855CI 6 cylinder NA (non turbo) Cummins diesel and Alison automatic 5 speed 34k miles. Did I mention power steering? This thing is actually pleasant to drive.

Rated at 10 ton on road and capacity 5 ton off road capacity. Air brakes, Air ride seat and 5 yard dump bed. The dump bed lifts WAY up high so that you don't have to rake stuff out of it, everything falls right out on its own.

Upgraded by the military with super single tires. Comes with spare. Everything works and it is ready to work.

I 've done over 100 mile trips in this beast. and it will do 55-60MPH with no problems. I keep it at 55 or below though. You will laugh when you pull up next to a semi truck and you are looking down at the trucker in his rig. Comes with Parts PTO.
