1956 Ford F600 Fire Truck for sale

Found this fire truck offered for sale and was listed ao Craigslist about an hour ago and still online today, as shown here is 1956 Ford F600 Fire Truck still in good shape condition with 38000 miles on it. Asking for $8,900 located in Rockdale, Texas.

Owner says; Selling my fire truck that I bought from my local fire dept. I've owned it about 2 1/2 years and it's a great truck. It cranks right up and runs great. I'm 99 percent it's a FE 361 V8 and only has 38,000 miles. It runs strong and the transmission and clutch work fine. They went through the brakes replacing all the hoses, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake front and rear hoses, and brake lines, New Tires, new u joint's and drive shaft in as well. I just changed the motor, tranny, and rear axle fluid and put a new fuel pump and battery in and cleaned the tank and been driving it around my shop everyday. It always cranks right up and idles good and the brakes work fine. Newer exhaust underneath. The body is very nice and was redone and painted back in the day and looks great. I recently added the Roundtop stickers on the doors for the parade. The body is really straight with no dents and the glass is good. The stickers can be removed on the doors and fenders if you wanted to change them to another town. The interior is pretty much all paint and rubber sprayed floor board with a black seat, but is clean inside. All the lights work including old red light on top that spins around also. The back of the bed has the factory water hoses on one side and the old wooden ladders hanging. I just built all new stained wooden floors and wooden benches that wrap around to sit in for parades. This truck does not have a title but most of them don't since they only get driven in the parades and little stuff. If you want a title you can get a bonded title real easy if you were going to convert it into a custom car hauler or custom bbq smoker on wheels etc. VIN # is F60V6U48710 I'ts a blast to drive in the parades and let kids throw candy out. You could put your business logo's on the doors and use it for advertising and a tax right off for your business. This truck is very nice shape all the way around and under neath and for being almost 67 years old it's a piece of history that you can have a blast in. There was a lot of money spent on this truck to get it looking like this and running again and you couldn't build one for $8,900 like this. If your interested and want to come check it out, I don't email or text much, just give me a call at 512-760-566FIVE Thanks Justin Located in Rockdale which is 1 hour from austin, bryan, temple or waco keywords f100, f250, f series, f350, custom, big truck, vintage, classic

1949 Dodge Power Wagon 4x4 Fire Truck for sale

Found this American classic fire truck has been fully restored with some modified and customized also been converted into 4x4 drivetrain being offered for sale by the owner at Craigslist for $39,000 located in San Dimas, California. Described as a good condition powered by a Cummins diesel engine ready for a new owner.

Owner said
1949 original Dodge fire truck. Custom-made crew cab that was originally built for the fire dept in 1949. All emblems and writing are original. No paint has been added. You can see original photos in ad of when it was first built. Photos were obtained from the original fire dept it came from.

Drivetrain:
Sitting on a 1995 Dodge Cummins 1 ton chassis. Chassis was not cut to altered. Drivetrain is completely stock 95 Dodge. 12 Valve cummins with P pump. 4-speed automatic with overdrive and lockup. Disk brakes up front. Power steering etc. Truck drives awesome! Tons of torque. Can tow anything, and people go nuts when they see it! Can be a daily driver with how effortlessly it drives.

The bad: For sure has rust throughout, but still solid enough. I just don't have the heart to start replacing all the metal and take away the original patina. Original upholstery has some small tears. The only gauges that are currently working are temp, boost, and oil pressure.

A one-of-a-kind truck! That is an absolute blast to drive! You will be hard pressed to ever find another one.

(I know it's not really a powerwagon)

1966 Seagrave Fire Truck

1966 Seagrave Fire Truck

1966 Seagrave Fire Truck, Founded by Fredric Seagrave during 1881 in Detroit, Michigan, Seagrave remains famous today as the oldest continuous manufacturer of fire-fighting trucks in the United States. In 1891, Seagrave moved to Columbus, Ohio and remained there until 1963, when FWD acquired it. That company was founded in 1909 by partners Otto Zachow and William Besserdich in Clintonville, Wisconsin. Its operations focused on the development of severe-duty truck chassis and it produced the first all-wheel drive chassis in the United States. Following the buyout by FWD, Seagrave moved its entire operations to Clintonville, Wisconsin, and it continues to lead the fire-apparatus industry with a multitude of pumpers, rescue units, aerial trucks, fire equipment, and other products.

This highly engaging 1966 Seagrave Model 0-4104 Fire Truck is an interesting find. Its manufacture was completed on 02/09/66 and it was delivered new that year to Garden Grove City Township in California and originally numbered Garden Grove Unit #1. Subsequently, a county-wide renumbering designated the Seagrave as Unit H 838. It was refurbished while still in service during July 1984 and eventually retired in 1992.

Distinctively finished in two-tone bright yellow and bright red transverse livery, the Seagrave is offered with 20,356 indicated miles at the time of cataloguing. The interior was updated to accommodate passengers with the seats upholstered in vinyl, including the rear- facing jump seats and front compartment. Mechanicals were also updated with the original V-12 engine replaced by a new 6D92 Silver Crown Diesel engine mated to a 6-speed Spicer SST6 manual transmission. The electrical system was also partially updated to accommodate current use. The Seagrave retains all standard and optional service items and apparatus, including internal and external instrumentation, ladders, axes, fire extinguishers, bells, spotlights, sirens, hoses, a high-pressure extendable sprayer, and other miscellaneous items. The truck does retain its high-capacity 1,250 gpm water pump; however, this item does need repairs. Aftermarket items include a CB radio, stereo, and PA system. Bearing a California Historical license plate and delivering incredible appeal with its unique body styling and full fire apparatus, this 1966 Seagrave fire truck is sure to draw admiration and crowds of excited onlookers wherever it appears
