1947 Ford Pickup Truck for sale

Found this antique American pickup truck offered for sale by the owner on Craigslist for $30,900 located in Missoula, Montana. As shown here 1947 Ford Pickup Truck is in excellent condition and looking for a new owner.

1947 FORD PICKUP Truck with a Flathead Six Engine. Engine is the Ford L6 G Series, 226CI, 90HP and it has a 4 Speed Manual Transmission. The truck is mostly original and underwent a frame-off restoration in the early 1990’s. I have photos of the truck during restoration. It has been in many shows and parades. The body is still in great shape and from 15 feet looks great. Up close it shows a few chips and small scratches with only one small dent on tailgate. I purchased the truck in 2015 and have garage stored it since then. I have only put about 300 miles on it. It runs good and does not overheat. The temp, oil pressure, amp and fuel gauges function but the speedometer does not so actual mileage is unknown. Items I have done since purchase: new battery, spark plugs, points, coil, condenser, fuel filter, oil, oil filter, electric fuel pump and rebuilt the carb. It is one BEAUTIFUL truck and draws lots of attention wherever it goes. Located in the Bitterroot Valley, Montana. If interested text me at 406-two one zero-three five two four. Mention 1947 Truck so I know u r real. Asking $30,900. Reasonable offers considered. No trades and no spammers please Thanks for looking!

1947 International KB-6 Boom Truck for sale

Found this antique American Boom truck offered for sale by the owner on craigslist for $5,900 located in Newport, Oregon. As shown here 1947 International KB-6 Boom Truck is in fair condition and looking for a new owner.

1947 international KB-6 Boom Truck This one of a kind boom truck was originally custom built for use in the oil fields of Southern California and subsequently was acquired by the now defunct power company, Santa Fe Energy Co, Western Division and used to set wooden power poles in Eastern Oregon. It is completely original, though the engine, at some point was converted to run on propane for it spent most of its life out in the "boonies" where gas stations were few and far between. It was abandoned on a high desert ranch bought by a friend of mine and believed to have been in running condition when parked? It has a blue (or black) diamond 6 cylinder gas engine and 5 spd. manual transmission. The unique, custom welded boom extends over the cab and is powered by massive PTO driven hand lever and foot peddle operated cable winch. Bed is solid but weathered and original. Both body and interior are in good shape; shouldn't be a difficult restoration for someone familiar with vintage "corn binders". This truck is unique in all the world and it turned heads every time we stopped for fuel hauling it home. The truck is being sold with a Bill of Sale only, will load onto your trailer or transport at no cost within 75 miles of Newport, OR. 97365 Asking $5,900 OBO

1947 Studebaker Farm Truck Hotrod
M15A Stakebody rescued from a Connecticut farm. The original drivetrain, suspension, steering, interior and gas tank have been removed. The cab was removed from the frame and the floors were rebuilt using 1” square tube and heavy gauge sheet metal and new cab mounts were welded in. The frame was cleaned and painted with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator and Chassis Satin Black. The underside of the cab, fenders, engine compartment, and bed have been coated with Rust Encapsulator to make sure it lasts another 76 years. The wheel base has been shortened to the standard M5 wheel base and the frame has been shortened accordingly. The bed was found in St Louis and brought back to New England for the build. The exterior has not been painted save for misting the bed with Eastwood Red Rust Encapsulator to help it better match the cab. This is an Old-School build using all new parts with the exception of the engine and rear differential. Less than 500 miles since completion. Details of the build are as follows:

1947 GMC 900 Series

Owner said, Barn find. 1947 GMC 900 series long nose "Jimmy". Beautiful survivor with the Detroit 6-71. As complete and original as I have seen in a VERY long time. If you're into old trucks you know how rare this is. Only a few hundred built. Sitting for the last 20+ years. Engine looks clean inside but will need some general maintenance before attempting to start.

Original factory Detroit 6-71, 5 speed transmission with 4 speed Brownie auxiliary. Beautiful cab with zero rust. Perfect fenders. This is a single axle truck that had a tag axle added back in the 60's. Easy conversion back to the original single axle tractor configuration.
